What are your hours of operations?
I offer tutoring sessions from
Monday-Friday 5 pm to 9 pm
Saturday-Sunday 9 am to 6 pm
I recommend sessions 2 or 3 times a week, depending on the student’s needs. Students who are at grade level should consider twice a week to maintain their level of achievement. Student who are behind or struggling should consider 3 times a week.
During the summer, I suggest meeting every other day if you sign up for a preview course. I am able to provide a full curriculum with lecture notes, worksheets, and quizzes to help you develop a solid understanding of the subject before you head back to school.
Can I change my tutoring schedule?
I understand that committing to one day and time is challenging in this world of ever changing after-school activities.
A regular schedule is preferred, but I am as flexible as possible with scheduling changes. 24-hour notice of a change is appreciated.
Can you offer a free first-time consultation?
Absolutely! I will meet with you (and/or your child) to discuss the current challenges facing the student and other factors that may affect the student’s potential achievement, as well as any questions or concerns you may have regarding the tutoring process. Based on the information shared in this consultation, we both can determine if I would be a good match for your learning style and personality.
What is your cancellation policy?
It is imperative that you show up to your session as it takes time and effort for me to travel to the tutoring location and to prepare for your lesson. There is a $10 charge for not showing up to a scheduled session. To avoid this charge when canceling or re-scheduling a session, please call or e-mail me the day before our session.
